A wrap-up in Auto Action of Round 6 of the 2019 FVAV Club Championship, the final round of the 2019 season.

There is a fantastic two-page article on Jake Rowe, the newly crowned 2019 CAMS Victorian Formula Vee Champion, following his maiden State Championship win.

“And the winner is…” (pg. 8-9) – Vic State Racer (Round 5 2019)

A wrap up on Round 5 of the Victorian Formula Vee Championship which saw Nicholas Jones win the round, followed by Heath Collinson and Davin Field. Race 3 of which saw Jones snatch the win over Field by just 0.01s.

A preview on Speedcafe of Round 5 of the 2019 CAMS Victorian Formula Vee State Championship, the final round of the 2019 season, resuming after a nine-week break.

“Thomas on Top” (pg. 8-9) – Vic State Racer (Round 4 2019)

A wrap up on Round 4 of the Victorian Formula Vee Championship which doubled as Round 3 of the Formula Vee Australian Series.

The round saw a large grid with 36 cars, including 6x 1200’s.

Championship leader Jake Rowe proved he could dual it with the national series leaders, coming away with second and third places in Races 2 and 3.

“Beef ‘n’ Reef” (pg. 8-9) – Vic State Racer (Round 3 2019)

A wrap up on Round 3 of the Victorian Formula Vee Championship which saw Jake Rowe and Heath Collinson both come away with an equal win for the round, followed closely by Nicholas Jones.

Race 2 saw Reef McCarthy take his maiden win in Formula Vee and 4th for the Round.

“And the winner is… Rowe” – Vic State Racer (Round 2 2019)

A wrap up on Round 2 of the Victorian Formula Vee Championship which saw Jake Rowe win the round, followed closely by Heath Collinson.

All three races were extremely close; in all three races “you could throw a blanket over the six leaders.”

 

“From Vee to Gee Pee” (pg. 2-3) – Vic State Racer (Round 1 2019)

There is a fantastic two-page article on long-time club member Heath Collinson; the 2018 Victorian Formula Vee Champion and 2018 FVAV Club Champion before his one-off debut in the CAMS PAYCE Australian Formula 4 Championship at the Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix 2019​.

“Rowe takes it just” (pg. 8-9) – Vic State Racer (Round 1 2019)

A wrap up on Round 1 of the Victorian Formula Vee Championship which saw Jake Rowe win the round, followed closely by Nicholas Jones and Adam Slattery in what can only be described as extreme conditions with all three days above 38 degrees.

An article on current Champion Health Collinson and 2017 Victorian Formula Vee Champion Matt Holme’s one-off debut in the CAMS PAYCE Australian Formula 4 Championship at the Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix 2019​.

A wrap up on Round 5 of the Victorian Formula Vee Championship, which saw Jake Rowe win the round, but fifth place finisher Health Collinson take out the Victorian Formula Vee Championship.

“Black Angus on Top” (pg. 10-11) – Vic State Racer (Round 4 2018)

A wrap up on Round 4 of the Victorian Formula Vee Championship, which saw Championship leader Health Collinson take out the round followed closely by championship opponents Nicholas Jones and Jake Rowe.

“Rainmeisters” (pg. 10-11) – Vic State Racer (Round 3 2018)

A wrap up on Round 3 of the Victorian Formula Vee Championship from a wet winter Winton Motor Raceway. The round was taken out by Championship leader Health Collinson followed closely behind by just one point by Shane Purvis and in third place Davin Field.

“Close One…” (pg. 14-15) – Vic State Racer (Round 2 2018)

A wrap up on Round 2 of the Victorian Formula Vee Championship at Phillip Island. The round was taken out by Championship leader Health Collinson with pole position in qualifying and three podium positions in three races, followed by Nicholas Jones and Jake Rowe.

“Collinson Collects” (pg. 14-15) – Vic State Racer (Round 2 2018)

It was a three-way dice between Health Collinson, Jake Rowe and Nicholas Jones at Sandown for Round 1 of the Victorian Formula Vee Championship. After a pirouette into the sandtrap at Dandenong Road in Race 3 for Nicholas Jones, the round was taken out by earlier championship leader Health Collinson, followed closely by Jake Rowe and Shane Purvis.
